To me its definitely more peachy beige rather than only beige! Its much warmer than soft ochre which is yellow and painterly which is more pink! Layin' low is flesh toned beige shade with peach undertones, which makes it the most perfect shade for Indian or tan skin tones! Due to its peach undertones and awesome pigmentation it does cover any hyper pigmentation or darkness on the eye lids quite effectively.
MAC describes Layin' Low as "creamy beige". I always store these upside down as its much easier to find the shades this way and I have heard it helps to keep them from drying as well. The packaging of pro long wear paint pots are same as their regular paint pots line, they come in a ting glass jar which I quite like and don't find them way too bulky. One of them which I was most excited about was Layin' Low which is a relaunch and was initially launched in 2010 with their Fafi collection! MAC paint pots need no introduction, they one of the best selling products from MAC and quite worth the rave in my personal opinion.
